Day 1- Fes 

 

Arrive to Fes Airport up to your arrival time. Greet you and transfer to  riad in the medina. Overnight in your riad

 

Day 2 – Explore Fes City

 

After breakfast you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramique view over the whole Medina of Fes.

 

Day 3 – Fes. Ifrane/ Azrou/ Medilt/ Ziz Gorges/ Erfoud/ Erg Chebbi.

 

Today we drive South towards the Sahara desert, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoy breathing the pure air that comes from the cedar forests, also pause for a time with Barbary apes. Have stops for taking pictures of splendid panoramic views, driving through Ziz Valley Gorges and palm groves of Tafilalet big oasis,  before we get to Merzouga Overnight in riad

 

Day 4 – Explore Erg Chabbi Dunes

 

Today we get to learn more about the life of the Nomads in our off-road excursion to the breathtaking Erg Chebbi, attend an African folkloric music/ dance performance in Khamlia village, and walk in a desert oasis where we learn about the irrigation system of the area. Late afternoon, you will mount camels for what is the highlight of many people’s trip, camel ride into the dunes, overnight back at your tent.

 

Day 5 – Erg Chebbi / Tinjdad/Toudra Gorges/ Tinghir Boulemane Dades.

 

After breakfast you depart the desert via the ancient desert town of Rissani heading to the dramatic Toudra Gorges viaTinjdad and Tinghir Town, a walk at Toudra Gorges along the river, but before you pause to relish the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Lunch in a restaurant under 300-foot-high red cliff of the gorges where many rock climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Overnight in Dades Valley.

Day 6 – Roses Valley -Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Hadou- Tichka pass High Atlas -Marrakech.

 

Today you journey for Marrakech. On the way we stop in the roses Valley  visit the photogenic Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and scene for many international movies nowadays. Lunch in restaurant overlooking the Kasbah, before continuing to Marrakech, penetrating the High Atlas Mountains at an elevation of 7269 feet, enjoying one of the most scenic drives in Morocco.

 

Day 7 – Marrakech Highlights.

 

City tour of Marrakech with an English-speaking guide. You will visit the historic Menara: a magnificent pool surrounded by flower beds, which reflects the image of a beautiful Moorish edifice, the tour features several notorious monuments, including the mind relaxing Les Jardins Majorelle and the Koutoubia Minaret (identical to the la Giralda tower in Sevilla,Spain), and the Saadian tombs, which represent Moorish architecture at its finest. The tombs, which include several sixteenth century mausoleums, lay undiscovered behind walls until 1917. This tour also will include a walk in the alleys of the different part of the Souk-Market. You may conclude your day with a drink at sunset, overlooking the bustling Jamaa El Fna square.

 

Day 8 – Marrakech. Menara airport.
